
Amber “Bear” Kessler Freer is a multidisciplinary artist living, working, and studying in Chicago, Illinois. They are pursuing a master’s degree in counseling and art therapy, following their 5th grade dreams.
Bear’s work includes textile sculpture, weaving, costume design, floral design, visible mending, storytelling, large scale collaborative works, and tiny feats of goodness. They’ve been known to send spirograph hugs to strangers and read their poetry at home and abroad.
